Directions to the Kaaterskill
By Car:
From NYC take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway North. Get off at the I-87/I-287 W Exit (Exit 9W) towards Albany. Merge onto New York State Thruway North and follow until you reach the Saugerties Exit (Exit 20). Turn left at the first light after the toll booth. Veer shortly afterwards to the right after the Stewart's to stay on rt. 32. Take rt 32 north 5 miles to blinking red light. veer to the right to continue on rt. 32 . in 2 more miles you will see Angela's Restaurant and Red Ranch Motel on the left, Take the next right , High Falls Road(note: this is the second High Falls Rd you will pass on rt. 32). 1/2 down is your first left, High Falls Extension. Take that 1/4 mile over the bridge and waterfall until you reach a long white picket fence on your left and a large open majestic farm property. You have arrived at The Kaaterskill.
By Train, Bus or Air:
For more info check out the link below but the best alternative to driving is Amtrak or Bus from NYC/Washington D.C. to Hudson which is nearby Catskill. Rental cars in the region are inexpensive compared to NYC so you may want to check out Enterprise in Hudson.
